Our Hospital – The
Regional Beacon of Healthcare
A regional healthcare provider for
seven counties and our company’s
flagship in the South –
Vaughan is where you can feel great
for a long-term career fit!
Vaughan Regional Medical Center is a Joint Commission–accredited,
175 bed acute care flagship within LifePoint Hospitals, Inc. (NAS:
LPNT), a company of approximately 50 community hospitals, and its
largest in the South with almost 600 employees and a $22 million
payroll. Our hospital contributes almost $2 million to the local
tax base and we serve a 7 county region; Vaughan RMC being a prominent
and secure place to work.
- In a community where following “The
Golden Rule” is practiced everyday with our neighbors,
it is the same at our hospital. For us, working at Vaughan makes
us feel good about ourselves, and that life has a genuine purpose.
- We
are at our best when holding the hands of patients or hugging
their family members, celebrating getting back to good health,
and helping a mother bring a new life into our world.
- We
make a difference every day and invite you to join us in our
wonderful journey of caring.
Meet Our Administrators:
Selected VRMC Directors:
“I have lived and worked in a much larger area
than Selma, but it is not the same. In the larger hospital and
community, you are not able to deliver the same degree of care
and special attention.” - Andretta Turner
"Vaughan is the
only hospital in town, so we need to 'shine' every day – I
enjoy working in the lab and know my work impacts lives; many of
us enjoy our work for this reason, and it's especially gratifying
to serve this community because the people are so genuine and nice." -
Rick Plumlee
Vaughan RMC Staff:
Being appreciated, welcoming smiles, waves
hello, acknowledgement of a good job, are free benefits offered
at Vaughan RMC by our employees. We are a reflection of the welcoming
nature of Selma, of real friendship, and respect. We’ve heard
about impersonal places of employment where you aren’t treated
as an equal – that’s not here. Here we greatly respect
our physicians, and our department directors, and they appreciate
us.
